2017 has been a tough one. With just a few days left like many others I’m taking stock of the past year and looking forward to turning the page and starting with a fresh year.
With personal challenges that have seemed to come one after another with no breaks I’ve been constantly reminded of how much I do have. Most importantly, family and friends that are both loving and supportive even when we’re having our ups and downs. Taking a look at my most important photographs from 2017 only confirms this. I have so many comforts that others wish they had and for that I am truly grateful. I have also dug into building my photography business and working on a dream that really brings me joy.
Challenges or not I will spend the next few days reflecting on all that I have to be thankful for. I am thankful for everyday challenges and all and with every day that comes I’m thankful for the chance to see it. I’ll keep my camera in hand and keep capturing the beauty that I see in every face, and in every day life.
I’m looking forward to the new year and can’t wait to see what it’s going to bring. I’ve got a ton of things that I want to do and I’m excited for it. New places new people and a whole lot of new ideas all just waiting to be explored. I know there’s a lot more to come.
I’m saying goodbye to this year and I thank you for making me stronger and hopefully a little bit wiser.
Can’t wait for the next chapter.
