While I live in Southern California, I travel a lot and to true wintery locations on a regular basis so I am very happy to see the calendar switch to spring. Now I am just waiting for Mother Nature to catch up. I’ve had quite enough of scrapping car windows, forgetting my gloves and trying really hard not to slip and fall on theice, and bundling up in layers upon layers.
I freely admit that I much prefer summer to winter by far so it makes me really happy whenever Spring makes an appearance. I’m ready to trade in winter coats, gloves and boots for much easier attire. My calendar says it’s almost time for spring to show up and I am ignoring all predictions by and ground hogs. I’m looking forward to the bright colors of spring.
Even though I don’t live in it, I am still already tired of snow. I do find fresh undisturbed snow to be really pretty that only lasts a few and then I am already done with it and ready for it to go. Right now I’m am telling Mother Nature that it’s really time for spring so bring it on.
